Former Edge School student-athlete Tyler Deakos has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Penticton Vees.
The Canmore, AB forward spent three seasons in the CSSHL with Edge School, originally joining their U15 team in 2020/21. The following U15 Prep season he would tally 18 points in 26 games, leading to the Saskatoon Blades selecting him in the seventh round, 149th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft. During the 2022/23 U17 Prep season Deakos finished third in team scoring with 30 points in 24 games.
Deakos would join the Drumheller Dragons for the 2025/26 AJHL season, tallying 15 points in 10 games.
